Waiting for ideas

An image of a light bulb symbolizes an idea.

I am patiently waiting for an idea.

Waiting  for an idea is a funny thing to do. How do we even know if we will ever get an idea we like. We might wait for a long time.

Waiting for an idea is crazy.

I mean, how long do I have to wait? I hope I’m not waiting for Godot.

Is getting an idea a process totally beyond my control?

Or is it a skill we can learn?

Then of course, there is an implementation of an idea, which is an entirely different ball game.

Anyway. I’m waiting for a great idea.

I have ideas. But I’m waiting for a big one.

Maybe I am making a mistake here. I’m not sure. But acting blindly on low-quality ideas is not my thing either.

OK. Let’s wait then.

We’ll see what happens.

What are your alternatives to waiting for a big idea?
